"We tend to use prayer as a last resort, but  God wants it to be our first line of defense.

We pray when there's nothing else we can do, but God wants us to pray before we do anything at all."
-Oswald Chambers

Our Father which art in heaven, we  hold up in prayer to You the men and women who submit to your authority for they are Your representatives.  We bless our officials and ask for Your guidance and intervention in all their decision making as leaders which you have chosen. We pray and intercede for the president, the representatives, the senators, the judges of our land, the policemen and women, as well as the governors and mayors, and for all those who are in authority over us in any way. We pray that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon them.

Almighty Father we give thanks that you are our refuge and  fortress for us in a time of trouble and distress.
We thank you for Divine protection from predators, terrorism and attack in and around public transportation (airport, train, bus), public gathering places (malls, parks, entertainment & amusement venues), public works, utilities, waste management facilities & water supply.   Keep watch over those who work to protect us: firefighters, law enforcement, security & emergency personnel.  Protect our name and reputation from slander, negative media, whispering, murmuring, evil communications.

Most Sovereign God we seek You face and soon coming kingdom. Deliver us from the hands of the enemy and demonic spirits of anger, murder,  fear, destruction, corruption, addictions, harmful habits & negative companions and thoughts.  Deliver us from complacency, lethargy and lack.  We seek salvation of the unsaved, the seed of the righteous, return of the backslidden, that Your glory may dwell in our land.

I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace To His people

Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is   weak!"
